MISSION STATEMENT

Adrenaline-check provides unique and personalized natural experiences and adventures for domestic and international travelers in summer and winter. We use expert guides and instructors and always strive to provide a safe and enjoyable experience.

We want to introduce our guests to authentic Slovenian lifestyles, culture and people, while continually striving for excellent service. We promote and share the importance of living an active life, environmental conservation and our connection to nature. In that way, we enhance the lives of our guests, coworkers and ultimately ourselves.

WHO WE ARE

The concept or Adrenaline – Check evolved over a long period of time, before finally becoming real in 2003. We believe that scenery and nature need to be experienced and not just seen through a van window. In order to achieve this goal, we will take you out hiking, swimming, biking, rafting, canyoning and do whatever you desire in order to provide the best experience possible. In winter we take you skiing, snowboarding, ice climbing, tobogganing, snowshoeing,...

All our staff and guides have traveled extensively and typically on a small budget which is why we want our tours to be affordable for everyone. On our tours, you will get the inside view of authentic Slovenian lifestyle, culture, cuisine, environment, and see the most spectacular natural phenomena in Europe. If you are looking for an active, well-organized, and unforgettable way to see Slovenia “The Green Peace of Europe”, as well as meet great people, you have definitely come to the right place.

MATIC LESKOŠEK

President, guide, instructor…
Matic holds a Bachelors Degree in Tourism Management (Turistica, Portorose, Slovenia) and a Graduate Studies Certification in Ecotourism and Adventure Tourism Management (Sir Sandford Fleming College, Ontario, Canada).

He has traveled all over Eastern and Western Europe, USA and Canada. He lived, worked and studied in USA (North Carolina), Ireland (Dublin) and
Canada (Haliburton/Ontario, Davidson/Quebec).

He actively played basketball for 10 years and Matic is a certified flat-water canoe guide, rafting guide and downhill skiing instructor. Matic has loved adventure since his very first adventure experience.

KATJA SIMONČIČ

Project Manager, Guide,…
Katja holds a bachelors degree in Tourism Management (Turistica, Portorose, Slovenia). Katja played tennis for 10 years on professional level and has traveled all over Eastern and Western Europe, Cuba and Africa. She also lived, worked and studied in USA (California) and Ireland (Dublin).

This year Katja took over Adrenalincek, which is our brand name on Slovenian market. Where she is now in charge of summer camps for
children as well as all other operations. She has been involved in sports all of her life and can not live without it.

SEBASTJAN LUBEJ

Guide, instructor, product development…
Sebstjan is our biggest adrenaline junkie. He can not live without adventure. Diving and jumping from high bridges and cliffs are his favorite activities.

Sebastjan’s background is with established associations that have organized big events such as: skiing competitions, hiking trips, big picnics,… He really enjoys telling stories and sharing his knowledge with our guests and friends. Sebastjan is also our representative in London, as he works in London in
winter and Slovenia in summer.

SIMON ZAGORIČNIK

Guide, instructor, sailing instructor, product development…
Simon completed his studies in Tourism Management (Turistica, Portorose Slovenia). Simon has been actively sailing and working with sailboats for the past 6 years.

His favorite sports are: snowboarding, skiing, basketball, hiking,… Simon is involved in the organization of many local events such as: ski cross competitions, hiking competitions… He speaks English, German and all
former Yugoslavian languages.

KLEMEN SAGADIN

Guide, instructor…
Klemen has completed studies in Tourism Management (Turistica, Portorose, Slovenia). He has been addicted to adventure since his early years. His favorite activities are: hiking, biking, mountain biking, night hiking, climbing and ice climbing. He has been actively involved in alpine climbing since 2001.

Klemen is also a certified tour guide and has guided tours to numerous
countries. He speaks English, German, Italian, Spanish and all former Yugoslavian languages.

ALEX BOČKO

Rafting & Kayaking expert & instructor...
Alex has been involved in Kayaking since 1990. He won national championship in kayaking many times and he is also one time European Champion. He kayaked in many countries including Peru, Chile,...  

Alex is head of our water department. He guides rafts, teaches kayaking and he also guides other adventure activities such as climbing, snorkeling,...

GREGOR AUDIČ

Sales manager, guide, product development...
Gregor is a head of our travel agency in Celje. He also guides our trips and adventures when he has time. He has been working in tourism for more than 10 years. He speaks English and all former Yugoslavian languages.

His travels include: New Zealand, Indonesia, Egypt, Cambodia, North America…
